Wolside®

WOLSIDE® is a top quality hot “fused” super-compact hard metal (HIP) coating, based on tungsten carbides and other special minerals. It is particularly suitable for the coating of mechanical parts used in the drawing industry for ferrous and non-ferrous metal wires, with the purpose of reducing wear and seizing.

Specific advantages of WOLSIDE® coating:

  • Practically negligible wear of the part.

  • High impact resistance during the use.

  • Considerable increase of speed and output of the machines, while maintaining the high quality of the end product.

  • Drastic reduction of the wear coefficient thanks to the low roughness-value (Ra) we can reach.
